Dedicated to Nationwide Children's Hospital
Barbara Sills, left, established the Robert D. and Barbara A Sills Endowed Fund for Pediatric Cancer Research to honor her husband, Robert's, right,
memory.
During their lives together, Robert D. and Barbara A. Sills formed a love for-and a dedication to-Nationwide Children's Hospital.
Robert was the 1990 president of the Nationwide Children's Hospital Development Board, a dynamic group of Columbus-area business professionals committed to
raising funds for the Hospital. The development board was founded in 1971 and has grown to 150 active and life members. Robert was a member for 26 years,
and their daughters Brooke and Bergen also have been members of the development board. To date, the board has raised over $15,000,000.
To honor Robert's memory, and through careful planning, Barbara established the Robert D. and Barbara A. Sills Endowed Fund for Pediatric Cancer Research,
through a deferred gift.
Nationwide Children's is grateful for the generosity of friends and benefactors like Robert and Barbara who have demonstrated their love of children and
dedication to helping them live healthy lives. These gifts help Nationwide Children's Hospital fulfill its mission to provide outstanding health care to
children in Ohio and beyond in perpetuity, for every reason, regardless of a family's ability to pay.
